Our Commercial Vehicle Banksman course is designed to provide candidates with the rite training and knowledge to ensure yard safety and reduce the risk of accidents in the workplace when carrying out reversing manoeuvres. A number of people are killed or seriously injured by reversing vehicles on company sites every year. This course trains staff to reverse vehicles safely and avoid accidents. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES Aims To understand the principles behind Vehicle banksman. To equip candidates with the knowledge to be able to guide vehicles around a working yard. Objectives By the end of this course candidates will understand the Health and Safety Regulations for reversing vehicles, Safe Systems Of Work, Risk Assessment and Hand Signals used to safely reverse vehicles.
