Description
MEWP's are widely used in the workplace and are used to access places of height replacing ladders and tower scaffolds as the preferred method of access.
It is important that operators understand the stability characteristics, know the limitations of the machine and precautions to be taken when operating.
On Successful completion of the course delegates will be able to:
Demonstrate the safe operation of the MEWP in accordance with the Manufacturer's handbook
Clearly understand the causes of instability while operating a MEWP
Be able to carry out correctly, a pre-use inspection of the MEWP
Work safely at height
Implement rescue plan

Hazards associated with using MEWP
Daily pre-use checks and maintenance requirements

| We are an RTITB accredited Training Centre based in Stirling providing accredited training across Scotland. Certification is to RTITB Standard. Our dedicated Instructors have vast knowledge and experience in all their subject areas. Certification is through the Road Traffic Industry Training Board (RTITB) the accrediting body. On successful completion of courses candidates will receive a certificate of Basic Training. Our courses and instructor are accredited by RTITB, which is nationally recognised and approved. |
